A TRUE FAMILY BUSINESS OPERATED WITH HEART AND EXPERTISE

For over 30 years, Lisl Wagner-Bacher – the “Grande Dame” of Austrian dining – has offered her guests the epitome of culinary enjoyment. Her husband Klaus ensures that the service is perfect and is also responsible for the unique wine selection.

And their daughters Christina and Susanne grew up surrounded by the world of fine dining. Today, the Landhaus isn’t simply just their place of work, but instead it truly became their calling. And they are also the ones who regularly introduce modern innovations here.

In addition, stepson Thomas Dorfer, Head Chef and Gault Millau’s 2009 Chef of the Year, is also a permanent part of Landhaus Bacher.

And after many, many years at the Landhaus, Johanna Stiefelbauer, the kind-hearted Head of Service, and Andreas Rottensteiner, Sommelier and walking wine encyclopedia, are both basically part of the family.
